As you can see, I’ve gotten a lot more use out of Twitter lately, I don’t really know why. I love Twitter Tools as it’s the easiest segue between Twitter and here, keeping information concurrently up-to-date however, it puts a quandary before me: tweets are filling up my blog with short content, is Twitter-to-blog worth it? I liked the original integration for use when I was out on the town and wanted to write something short, I could just Twitter it and Bam! it’d be here. Well, now it’s here and so are the rest of my tweets, looking kind of like a one-sided conversation.
I think I’ll push my tweets to a sidebar widget and see how that goes.

Yeah, I’ve got the same problem. And it’s not a new one. I went through the same thing with the del.icio.us auto-posts for links. It seemed like a good idea, but I don’t always post enough other material, so my blog just seemed to fill up with link posts, which was pretty boring to most of my visitors.
The same thing is happening with the Twitter summaries now. But I was aware of that possibility from the beginning, and pretty much knew that I’d probably end up turning them off, which I think I’ll be doing soon.

Yep, I never had the issue before because I wasn’t really using Twitter publicly, I was only using direct message bots up until recently. Now I’ve got a blog full of bizarre one-sided junk posts that no one will get unless they’re following me on Twitter (and I don’t know of any one that reads this that has Twitter and is following me).
Moving to sidebar really helped clean up the cruft but also reminds me of that I really should update at least once a day hehe.
BTW, congrats on the new job!
