Incessant Expressions

This week was rough and I haven’t slept well one day of it. We finally managed to get Marley out of the house as her original owner came by to pick her up with a new tag. Our suspicions about why he said he didn’t have a cat about 2 weeks ago are more than likely true. I’m glad she’s out of the house because it was stressing everyone, including the other three cats, out.

I was told just today it was Memorial Day weekend, I had no idea. Working at a place where you don’t get regular holidays off really makes you forget about them. I never would’ve realized this was a holiday weekend if no one had told me, am I getting that old?

Speaking of Memorial Day weekend, we saw Indy 4 last night. Great movie. I can’t believe The Last Crusade came out almost 20 years ago, doesn’t seem that long ago. I just watched that a little over a week ago as well. Despite what the commercials say, the most recent re-releases of the Indiana Jones movies were not the first “special editions” on DVD, I picked up a special edition 3 DVD/1 CD set a few years ago. But it sure does make for great marketing to say that when people have been waiting 20 years for another sequel of Indiana Jones.

We’re going to the Florida Super Con this weekend and it should be fun. There’s a gothic and lolita tea party tomorrow we’re going to be shooting, along with some other stuff. I hope it’s fun!
