The Dethalbum has been acquired

I finally got my hands on the special edition Dethalbum from [adult swim]‘s most brutal band: Dethklok. Jess and I spent the better part of the week searching for the CD around Boca but no one had it (Best Buy didn’t even have the album, period. Those knobs didn’t even stock it). We had to go all the way to the dreadful Hot Topic in Boynton to pick it up. However, it was a great segue to getting tacos and tamales at Tacos al Carbon which were excellent, including the shredded beef tongue taco I tried. Seems I’m the first person in my immediate family that’s actually eaten beef tongue although, my father and sister have eaten far more…interesting things before — such as scrambled eggs and pig brains.

I also picked up Eternal Sonata and Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball 2 (oh, I cannot wait to play) for the 360. The reviews of ES were correct, the game is definitely gorgeous but each time a character starts some dialogue, to make some coffee. Almost every cut scene takes at least 5 minutes to complete which is a serious time waster in my opinion. I know they have a story to tell but geez, do I need the story — and political message — fed to me in such lengthy portions?

Now we’re about to eat some Aussie food and watch a movie!
